PicLits

Check out this cool site called PicLits that's kind of a visual version of magnetic poetry. I'm sure I can find out some way to use this in the classroom :-) (Unlike wordle.net which is still super cool, but I can't figure out a single way to use it in class :-)) Until then, it just looks cool! See what you think-

Hey .... you arde cool if you found PicLits. Sixth grade works well. If you use the DRAG-N-DROP you can do all kinds of work having to do with grammar, punctuation, vocabulary and even spelling. I READ hundreds of PicLits posted in the Gallery and find spelling errors. I comment on the PicLit and mention the error. FREESTYLE is very creative and several AP classes us it. We have Lesson Plans in the "LEARN IT section. They are more ideas than Lesson Plans, however the MASTER IT section has POETRY plans and they are serious. Whatever you write is called a PicLit. The site is free. SMART boards are awesome but digital projectors and computer labs work just fine. Let me know if you have any ideas or questions.
